I feel that all this digital art has spoiled me. Being able to instantly choose a colour, undo even the mildest of mistakes and of course being able to work on the undersketch to your heart's content without any risk of completely destroying a canvas are all things that are sorely lacking from the reality of traditional art. This week I've been attempting to paint in acrylic again and since this is the internet and you probably can't hear the bitterness in my voice, I'll let you know that it's been quite a painful process. So... Newton Faulkner's new album is out. It's good, I'm listening to it right now. So should you be. Anyway, as a loyal fan I'm halfway through an epic digital painting of him, which may or may not live up to the expectations that I just created and may or may not be a comfort drawing. That's pretty much all that I've done today and I anticipate that I'll be spending a lot more days in future randomly messing around on Muro since I have many months of summer left and a very short list of things that I plan to do during that time. So, I found this reasonably amusing. Apparently this is one of the UK's wettest Junes on record. 1. Not Raining Outdoor furniture is erected cautiously in gardens and on balconies.
